Black Bean Paste Noodle

  • 2 servings Fresh Egg Noodles.
  • 1 tbsp Feng He Garden Black Bean Sauce
  • 1 pc Red Carrot, diced
  • 1 pc Big Onion, chunks
  • 1 tbsp Green Peas
  • 1/2 pound Pork Belly, cut into small cubes
  • 1 thumb size Ginger, minced
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Feng He Garden Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Potato Starch Powder
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 3 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 stalk Spring Onion, chopped
  • Dash of Ghee Hiang Sesame Oil
  • Salt to taste


  1. Boil the fresh noodles till it is cooked. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the wok over high heat. Add 1 tbsp cooking oil and stir-fry the pork until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Add 1 tbsp cooking oil in the same wok and saute minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  4. Add red carrot, big onion, and green peas till tender but still crisp. Set aside.
  5. Heat the wok with 2 tbsp cooking oil. Add the sauce mixture and stir for about a minute. Mix all ingredients and keep stirring till well mixed.
  6. Add 2 cups of water to the wok. Let it simmer and cook with the lid closed for about 10 minutes.
  7. Mixed potato starch powder, sugar & water. Pour in little by little, and keep stirring until it is well mixed and thick.
  8. Remove from heat and pour over the noodles.
  9. Garnish with Ghee Hiang Sesame Oil and spring onion. Ready to serve.
