Brased Spare Ribs with Plum Sauce

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes
  • Red Onion
  • Cumin
  • Salt
  • Feng He Garden First Extract Light Soy Sauce
  • Lao Gan Ma (a type of chili sauce)

Preparation:

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes.
  2. Slice the potatoes into thin pieces.
  3. Soak the potato slices in clean water and gently rub them to remove excess starch.
  4. This will make the potato slices crisper when fried.
  5. Drain the water.
  6. Wash and chop the onion into small pieces.

Method:

  1. Heat some oil in a pan. Add the potato slices.
  2. Stir-fry continuously.
  3. Sprinkle a little salt. Fry until the potato slices turn golden brown.
  4. Remove the potato slices from the pan and drain the excess oil.
  5. Keep the remaining oil in the pan.
  6. Add the chopped onion. Stir-fry on low heat until fragrant.
  7. Add a teaspoon of Lao Gan Ma chili sauce. Mix well.
  8. Add the fried potato slices to the pan.
  9. Add cumin seeds and 1 tbsp of Feng He Garden First Extract Light Soy Sauce.
  10. Stir-fry until everything is well mixed and flavored.
  11. Serve and enjoy your Cumin Onion Potato Slices!
