Teriyaki Salmon

Ingredients:
Ginger slices
Garlic, 2 cloves
3 tbsp Feng He Garden First Extract Soy sauce
2 tbsp Maple syrup
1 tbsp Rice wine
Olive oil
Salmon fillet, about 500 grams
Salt
Black pepper

Method:
1. Sprinkle some salt and black pepper on the salmon and set it aside to marinate.

2. Add ginger and garlic slices in a large bowl, then pour in the soy sauce, maple syrup, rice wine, and olive oil. Mix well.

3. Place the salmon fillet in the bowl from step 2, ensuring it's evenly coated in the marinade. Marinate for about 2 hours or at least 20 minutes.

4. Heat a pan and add some olive oil. Place the salmon, skin side down, into the pan. Once the skin is crispy, flip the salmon over and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

5. Pour the remaining marinade into the pan with the salmon and continue cooking for 3–4 minutes until the salmon turns white.

6. Tilt the pan and spoon the sauce over the salmon. If the sauce thickens too much, add a small amount of water.

7. Transfer the cooked salmon to a plate, drizzle with the sauce from the pan, and enjoy!
