Sliced Tilapia Congee

Ingredients:
- 280g tilapia
- 1 cup short-grain white rice
- 6 cups water
- Some ginger
- 2 stalks green onion
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 egg (egg whites only)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp Ghee Hiang Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Feng He Garden First Extract Soy Sauce
Instructions:
- Prepare aromatics: Chop green onions, ginger, and cilantro.
- Prepare tilapia: Squeeze out excess water from tilapia fillets, cut into 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick pieces, and marinate with cornstarch, salt, white pepper, water, egg white, and Ghee Hiang Sesame Oil.
- Rinse rice: Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
- Cook congee: Add water to a pot, bring to a boil, add rice, stir, and cook on low heat for 25 minutes. Whisk for 1-2 minutes.
- Add ingredients & seasoning: Add tilapia, ginger, white pepper, salt, and Feng He Garden First Extract Soy
- Sauce to congee. Mix and cook until fish is done.
- Garnish: Transfer congee to a bowl and garnish with green onions and cilantro. Enjoy!
