Gan Xiang originates from Malaysia and is very popular there.
It is made by frying and dried shrimp, Curry Powder, Dried Chilli, Shallot and other delectable spices to produce the distinct fragrance that everyone associate with high end restaurant sea food dishes such as Crab, Sotong (squid), Chicken, La La (clams) and Pork ribs. It is also a popular addition to Kang Kong and Ladies fingers!
