Feng He Garden First Extract Soy Sauces (酱油)
As the most important condiment used in Chinese cooking, our Soya Sauces are prepared in the most conventional way. Our soy beans take their time to ferment naturally over a longer period of time for the best result under the sun in earthen vats. Feng He’s “First Extract” is the highest grade of soy sauce from the very first harvest or extraction in the fermentation process. Its aroma, taste and texture are the best, just like “Extra Virgin Olive Oil” which derived from the ‘first press’. The quality from the first extraction is simply the finest you can find on the market.
With their rich flavor, our Feng He Light and Dark Soy Sauces can be used as “dip” for any cooked food. They are also ideal for marinating meat and as main sauce in cooking. Feng He Garden’s soy sauce commands a high level of reputation and great feedback among food lovers in Singapore and Malaysia. Check out our Facebook.
Feng He Garden Black Vinegar (黑醋)
Our finely tuned Black Vinegar is made from the very best black glutinous rice (also called “sweet rice”). It has a rich, mellow, malty and almost smoky flavour in a perfectly balanced acidity. Our full flavoured Black Vinegar can be used for preparing traditional Chinese Black Vinegar Trotter for nursing mothers, or simply as a dip for Sharks Fin soup or Chinese dumplings like Xiao Long Bao.
While some people promote black vinegar for its medicinal properties, as a tonic which may lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, we like to think that ours is a must have for any kitchen preparing delectable Chinese dishes for its depth of flavour.
